STDL Employee to be Honored as Parade Marshall

This year Hoffman Estates is celebrating their 50th anniversary and Jane Davey is one of the original residents of Hoffman Estates, plus she celebrated her 40 years with our library. Congratulations, Jane!

Free Amplified Phone Demonstration – June 20th
June 20, 2009 by claireOn Saturday, June 20th, 11-3 pm, the Schaumburg Township Disability Services and the Library Extension Services will host a demonstration of the free, amplified phones from the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corp. Residents will be able to do a “live” test call on each of the 4 phones and select which one they hear most clearly on. They are free to qualified IL residents with a certified hearing loss.
