Children’s Art Exhibit

Don’t miss the 38th Annual Children’s Art Show on display on the second floor of the central library until August 31.  This exhibit is presented by Starlight Art and Culture Center and features beautiful artwork by kids of all ages.

Senior Computer Classes

The library offers classes that are targeted for the “over 50″ audience and will introduce students to the basics of computing from the ground up at a gentler pace than the non-senior classes. Each class has a maximum of 10 students, meets in the Adult Computer Lab, and  lasts approximately 2 hours.  Fee is $9 per class.  See the schedule. Register in person or call the Computer Assistance Desk at (847) 923-3352.

Jewelry Making

Join us for a Movie

The Hoffman Estates branch, located on Hassell Road, offers movies throughout the year. Movies start at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM every Thursday night. Teen Appreciation Week – Aug. 10 – Aug. 16

Schaumburg Township Teens are celebrated this week with events throughout the community. At the library, teens going into grades 6-12 can pick up coupons for $10 off fines at the central library Reader’s Advisory Desk or at the Hoffman Estates or Hanover Park branch libraries.
