At the request of our library trustees, the Village of Schaumburg trustees have honored Michael Madden, the recently retired director of the Schaumburg Township District Library, by naming the private road on the east side of the library as Michael Madden Way. Madden served for 41 years as our director.

February 26, 2009If you are looking for income tax forms, come to the second floor by the Information/Magazine Desk. Many paper forms and instructions are available in our TaxForms Display or can be obtained at that desk. Two computer terminals are also available to search for additional forms. You can also click on the Tax Info button on the right side of this homepage to locate forms, tax laws, and tax preparation assistance.

Teen Writing and Drawing Clubs

STDL Gets a 5 Star Rating from Library Journal!
February 19, 2009The Schaumburg Township District Library has received a five star rating for excellence and superior service in The Library Journal Index of Public Library Service 2009. This index rates 256 “star” libraries across the nation with outstanding service. The top libraries in each group get five, four, or three Michelin guide-like stars.
