The library will host a Family Wii tournament sponsored by the Audiovisual Department. Each team will consist of a child (age 8-12) and a parent or grandparent, playing Wii Sports Resort Archery. The library will have a book sale in the lobby of the Central Library as part of our contribution to Make a Difference Day. 100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit Journeys: From PADs to Hope, an organization that provides assistance to men, women, and families in northwest suburban Cook County who have become or are at risk of becoming homeless.
