After learning the skill, I was amazed at how much valuable information I had sitting on my computer. Information on a wide variety of topics I had purchased and downloaded that I didn't even know I had...and that was just ebooks (electronic PDFs)! Then along came MP3s - but this time I was more prepared and a lot wiser. Downloading can indeed seem like magic and this demonstration will no doubt provide a great opportunity for people to learn more about this important 21st century skill. The event was not moved out early -- it was scheduled to be here until April 3rd. The Lt. Gov. office told me that the exhibit will be in Taylorville, IL from April 18th-25th, then it is scheduled at Andrew's High School in Tinley Park on April 27th. That's as far as they have planned so far. Thank you for your interest in the Portrait of a Soldier exhibit. The event was not moved out early — it was scheduled to be here until April 3rd.

We went to see this exhibit today on April 3, 2008. We were informed by staff the the Lieutenant Governor decided to recall this event early and the portriates were removed earling this morning.
