A representative from Social Security will discuss how to apply for retirement, spousal benefits, or disability benefits on the Social Security website  www.socialsecurity.gov. Suburban Philanthropy Center – An Introduction

You are eligible to donate if you weigh at least 110 pounds, are in good health, in good physical condition, at least 17 years old, and have not donated in the past eight weeks. Food For Fines in Month of August

Bring in cans, boxes or jars of non-perishable food (not past their expiration date, please)  to clear fines from your library card.   One item clears two dollars and five or more items clear all fines. Does not cover lost or damaged materials  – only fines for overdue materials. Donated food will be given to the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry and pet food to Strays, Inc.
