Crafting for Green Teens

Teens in grades 6 – 12 can learn to reuse materials to make art, including designing a stylish tote bag from a shirt.  Local artist Carol Thomas will guide teens through several fun and Earth-friendly projects. Register for one of the sessions by sending an email to teenservices@stdl.org or by calling (847) 923-3191.

Monday, December 8 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Hanover Park Branch Library

Monday, December 8 6:30 -7:30 p.m. Central library, Youth Services Craft Room

Wednesday, December 10 3 – 4 p.m. Hoffman Estates Branch Library

    what if you are not a 6-12 grader? what if your in a higher or lower grade?

      Thanks for your interest! This program is designed for teens. However, if enough older or younger folks would like to have a similar program we can ask the adult or youth departments to sponsor it for those ages.
